Program Description:

CanPowerSkate’s Pre-Power is designed for young skaters, approximately four to six years of age who can stand up on skates and move forward who may not be ready for CanPowerSkate Level 1. Pre-Power helps develop basic skating abilities in a power skating-specific environment, including balance skills, forward and backward skating, stopping, turning and agility skills. The curriculum is presented in three progressive levels complete with its own awards to encourage participation and motivate skaters. Pre-Power has been designed to run concurrently with CanSkate sessions.

Program Description:

CanPowerSkate’s Pre-Power is designed for young skaters, approximately four to six years of age who can stand up on skates and move forward (STAGE 1 Passed) who may not be ready for CanPowerSkate Level 1.

Pre-Power helps develop basic skating abilities in a power skating-specific environment, including balance skills, forward and backward skating, stopping, turning and agility skills.

The curriculum is presented in three progressive levels complete with its own awards to encourage participation and motivate skaters.

Pre-Power has been designed to run concurrently with CanSkate sessions. NO Hockey/Ringette Sticks!

This program offers instruction on how to skate efficiently and deliberately. Although it is a group program, each skater will receive optimal instruction from our Powerskating instructors.

Program Description:

CanSkate Program 5 years & up! 6-10 Skaters in a Group. Payment Reserves Placement ******************************************************************************************************************************* CanSkate is our flagship learn to skate program, designed for beginners of all ages. When you sign up for CanSkate you will be in a program that focuses on fun, participation, and basic skill development. You will earn badges and other incentives as you learn fundamental skating skills. Lessons are in a group format and led by a CanSkate Certified Professional Coach.

Professional Coaches are assisted by trained Program Assistants(PA's). The Coach/student ratio is 1:10. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning. CanSkate is the feeder program to all other Skate Canada Skating Programs.

Program consists of: Stages 1-6 levels, and current fundamental movements plus four new components have been reconfigured into three fundamental areas. Program Description:

3- 5 years of age. Professional Coaching Staff. 6-10 Skaters in a Group. Payment Reserves Placement ******************************************************************************************************************************* PreSchool is the "First Steps" to our "Learn to Skate" program, designed for "walkers".

When you sign up for PreSchool/CanSkate you will be in a program that focuses on fun, participation, and basic skill development. Your skater will earn badges and other incentives as he/she learns the fundamental skating skills. Lessons are in a group format and led by a CanSkate Certified Professional Coach. Professional Coaches are assisted by trained Program Assistants(PA's).

The Coach/student ratio is 1:10. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning.

PreSchool is the feeder program to all other Skate Canada Skating Programs.
